Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1056314A2] The high pressure gas discharge bulb, such as a halogen lamp (GDL) is connected to a firing circuit that receives inputs fro control module. The firing circuit includes a transformer coupled to a symmetrical filter that incorporates a capacitor and two inductances. The capacitor is connected in parallel to the lamp.
