[origin: WO9943239A1] The invention relates to a bedstead comprising a frame. Known bedsteads provided with spring elements designed to generated different vertical forces distributed across the sleeping surface are comparatively complex. The invention provides the sleeping surface of the bed to made of an elastic woven fabric which is held tight in a frame configured by longitudinal and transverse bars. The fabric is subjected to varying degrees of tension in different sections at least between the longitudinal bars, so that the sleeping surface presents different return forces. The invention also relates to the use of said bedstead for different types of beds.
