Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9941205A1] The invention concerns a method for treating an effluent in order to purify it comprising at least one step of biological treatment (1) leading to the production of biological sludge. The invention is characterised in that at least part of the biomass used during said biological treatment step is fixed on a support and it comprises at least a step (2) which consists in subjecting at least one part of said sludge derived from said biological treatment step a conditioning aiming at improving its biodegradibility and a step (3) consisting in re-routing the resulting conditioned sludge towards said biological treatment step.
