Said pigment is therefore used especially for protecting metal parts or metal alloy parts from corrosion. The pigment is characterised in that it is a) a mixture and/or a reaction product of acid aluminium tripolyphosphate with calcium and magnesium oxide, hydroxide or carbonate and/or b) hydroxylapatite and/or c) a mixture and/or a conversion product of hydroxylapatite with trimagnesium phosphate.
