Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19859592C1] The fuel injection valve injects fuel from a central high pressure reservoir (1) into the combustion chamber. The reservoir is in connection with a control chamber (2) via a feed throttle bore (10). The pressure in the control chamber controls the opening and closing of an injection nozzle. The control chamber is connected via an outlet throttle bore, to a switch valve which opens or closes the outlet of the outlet throttle bore. The inlet throttle bore is eccentric to the control chamber so that a rotational axis of a rotation flow generated by the inflow from the inlet bore is parallel to the inflow direction if the fuel into the outlet flow bore.
