[origin: WO0038306A1] Nine bidirectionally blocking power electronics components are mounted on a substrate (3) such that they form a three-row matrix and are arranged between three current conductors (4) which are positioned parallel to each other above and below said components. The current conductors above the matrix are positioned at right angles to the current conductors below the matrix. The conductive strips to the gate terminals and auxiliary emitter terminals are situated on or in a thin insulating printed circuit board or film and are connected to the corresponding contacts of the chips in recesses (5) in the current conductors.
