Abstract (en)
The new design of a bed base comprises several rows of spring elements (1). Each spring element (1) has a soft hemispherical shaped top (3), which is inserted into the opening of a carrying ring (2) from below. The lower rim of the spring element (9) is kept in place by a fixing ring (4), designed as a spring (4). Several recesses (6) and projections (8,10) engage with matching areas located at the openings of the bed base (17,18), when the spring element (1) is attached to the construction. The spring element (1) offers a flexible surface which yields in all directions, facilitating a comfortable feeling for the user.

Bei einem Federelement zum Einsatz in einem Unterbett und zur Auflage von Matratzen soll eine Lösung geschaffen werden, mit der eine punktuelle Elastizität eines Unterbettes mit einer elastischen Nachgiebigkeit in beliebigen Richtungen bei möglichst geringem Aufwand erreichbar ist. Dies wird durch einen in der Tragkonstruktion (14, 15, 17, 18) des Unterbettes einbaubaren Tragring (2), einen den Tragring (2) zentrisch durchsetzenden, dessen obere Fläche überragenden Federkörper (3) sowie eine den Federkörper (3) am bzw. im Tragring (2) fixierende Feder (4) erreicht. <IMAGE>
