[origin: EP1057626A1] The counter pickup pieces (23) fit into the spaces (5) between the pickup pieces. The intermediate spaces contain movable sheet-supports (10). The side of the movable sheet-supports facing away from the sheet (3) have a fixed cam (19) protruding into the track of the pickup finger (24). The movable sheet-supports are guided along a straight guide at right angles to the pane of the pickup pieces, and move by means of springs (16) into the pickup pieces' plane. Adjustable thrust pieces (18) fix the position of the movable sheet-supports.
