Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1057736A1] The container consists of a cylindrical metal body (12) with an upper edge (14) for its opening and a lower edge (16) attached to its base (18). The upper edge is fitted with a metal ring (20) with an annular central section, an outer rim (20E) crimped to the upper edge of the body, and a rolled inner rim (20I) round its opening. The container has a wire handle (26) with its two ends turned inwards to form pivots (26E) which are held in place between projections (28) embossed in the ring (20) and between the outer crimped rim and inner rolled rim. In its folded position the handle lies against the ring's annular central section.
