Abstract (en)
The pipe has intake (10) and outlet (13) connected by an air guide system (26). The pipe also has a relief point for pressure wave generated by the outlet. The point is formed by a burst section (15) in a wall section (16) of the intake pipe, and there is a pulse volume (14,a) next to it. The section has a conical cover (23) fitted into an associated opening in the pipe jacket. The burst section is formed by weakening the tube wall sections. The pulse volume is an underpressure accumulator with underpressure connection (20).

Es wird ein Saugrohr für die Ansaugluft von Brennkraftmaschinen vorgeschlagen, welches eine Entlastungsstelle in Form einer Berstgeometrie 15 für Back-Fire-Stöße im Saugrohr aufweist. Im Falle eines Back-Fires wird die Berstgeometrie unter Versagen von Schwachstellen 17, 18, 24 in das Verpuffungsvolumen 14, 14a hineingeschleudert wodurch ein Abbau der Energie der Back-Fire-Druckwelle erfolgt. Dadurch werden weitere Schäden am Saugrohr verhindert, so daß die Notlaufeigenschaften der Brennkraftmaschine erhalten bleiben. Die vorgeschlagenen Entlastungsstellen weisen eine hohe Funktionszuverlässigkeit unabhängig vom Betriebszustand, insbesondere der Betriebstemperatur, der Brennkraftmaschine auf. <IMAGE>
