The angle of inclination of the swash plate (12) is automatically adjusted to the actual performance of the drive (14), avoiding a reduction in output and efficiency when pressure acts on the adjusting cylinder (24). An auxiliary piston (34) in the shape of an open case, carrying the spring system (28,29), facilitates even more precise adjustment.
