[origin: EP1059075A2] The wheeled chair, especially for invalids, has a seat (1) which pivots on a horizontal axis (6) across the line of forward movement at a wheeled chassis (5). The leg supports (3,4) and backrest (2) pivot on axes (8,9) at the seat parallel to the seat axis (6). A unit (7) at the seat (1) swings the seat (1) at the chassis (5).
