The ink unit is part of a printing press with an ink dosing system (2) and devices (1, 6) to supply the ink to a supply sector between the dosing system and the plate cylinder of the press. It also includes a negative pressure chamber (10) to vaporize part of the moisture of the supplied ink. The supply sector may pass through the negative pressure chamber.

Um bei einem Farbwerk für eine Druckmaschine mit einem Dosiersystem (2) für Farbe und Mitteln (1,6) zum Befördern von Farbe auf einer Förderstrecke zwischen dem Dosiersystem (2) und einem Plattenzylinder einer Druckmaschine die Verdunstung von vom Plattenzylinder in Richtung des Dosiersystems rückgefördertem Feuchtmittel zu verbessern, ist eine Unterdruckkammer (10) zum Verdampfen eines Feuchtanteils der geförderten Farbe vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
