Abstract (en)
A process of treating a carpet comprises the application of a liquid composition onto said carpet using an electrical spraying device wherein said composition comprises a nonirritating anionic surfactant rated nonirritating to mucous membranes as measured at a 5% active surfactant solution using the Draize test method. Preferred surfactants are chosen from the group consisting of sarcosinate, sulfosuccinate, alkyl sulphonate, alkyl sulphate, sulfosuccinamate, sulfosuccinamide and carboxylate surfactants.
