Abstract (en)
The air intake assembly, for an internal combustion motor, has at least two housing sections (2-4). When assembled together, they form the separate air intake channels (7) to each separate cylinder in the motor, and the exhaust gas return channel (10). At least one housing section (3) has a cooling system (12) to lower the temp. of the exhaust gas flow in the exhaust channel (10). The assembled housing sections (2-4) form a flow channel (14) for the water coolant. The housing sections (2-4) are produced by die casting.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Luftansaugkanalanordnung für eine Brennkraftmaschine, die zumindest zwei Gehäuseteile (2, 3, 4) aufweist, die im zusammengesetzten Zustand einzelne zu jedem Zylinder einer Brennkraftmaschine führende Luftansaugkanäle (7) und einen Abgasrückführkanal (10) ausformen, wobei zumindest ein Gehäuseteil (3) eine Kühlvorrichtung (12) zur Kühlung des durch den Abgasrückführkanal (10) strömenden Abgases aufweist, wobei im zusammengesetzten Zustand der Gehäuseteile (2, 3, 4) ein Kühlwasserkanal (14) ausgeformt ist. Dies hat den Vorteil, dass auf kostengünstige und in montagetechnischer Hinsicht einfache Weise eine Kühlung des zurückzuführenden Abgases erfolgen kann. <IMAGE>
