Bekannt ist ein Gargerät mit einem mit einer Tür verschließbaren, von gesteuerten Heizquellen beheizbaren Garraum, in dem ein Gargutträger an einem Trägerelement gehaltert ist, welches in dem Garraum mittels einer Motoreinheit höhenverstellbar ist zur Höhenverstellung des Gargutträgers. Um die Garergebnisse zu verbessern, liest eine Steuereinheit (19) bei der Durchführung eines Garprozesses aus einer Speichereinheit (21) Höhenwerte, und steuert die Steuereinheit in Abhängigkeit vom Ablauf des Garprozesses die Motoreinheit entsprechend der Höhenwerte an, wodurch der Gargutträger während des Garprozesses in unterschiedliche Höhenpositionen fährt. <IMAGE>
