Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19809315A1] The invention relates to a radial piston pump comprising a drive shaft mounted in a pump housing and preferably comprising a plurality of pistons (1) which are arranged in a respective cylinder chamber (2) and in a radial manner with regard to the drive shaft. A plate (3) is mounted on the piston ends facing the drive shaft. The plate comprises a pocket hole (9) in the middle, in which the end (9) of the accompanying piston (1) is accommodated. The piston (1) has a groove (7) on the circumference thereof, in which a retaining ring (6) is placed in order to fasten a plate holder (4) on the piston (1), said plate holder holding the plate (3) on the piston (1). The inventive pump is characterized in that a cylinder depression (26) is placed in the plate at the edge of the pocket hole (9), whereby the diameter of the cylinder depression (26) is dimensioned in such a way that the clearance between the retaining ring (6) and the circumference of the cylinder depression (26) is smaller than the depth of the groove (7).
