Abstract (en)
The adjustable frame for an office chair (1) has a seat support frame (2) rotatable about a first pivot point (8) which also form a pivot for a lowerable backrest (6). The backrest has a second pivot (12) to allow synchronised movement with the squab (10). The first pivot point is higher, in the rest position o the backrest than the second pivot which can be in the same plane as the squab.

Ein Stuhl (1,1'), insbesondere ein Bürostuhl, mit einer in Bezug auf einen Sitzträger (2) um einen ersten Drehpunkt (8) drehbar angeordneten, aus einer Ruheposition neigbaren Rückenlehne (6), und mit einer mit der Rückenlehne (6) um einen zweiten Drehpunkt (12) drehbar verbundenen, synchron zur Rückenlehne neigbaren Sitzfläche (10) soll insbesondere im Hinblick auf seine Kippneigung auch für eine besonders weitreichende Neigungsbewegung der Rückenlehne (6) mit einer Neigung von beispielsweise bis zu 40° gegenüber deren Ausgangsposition geeignet sein. Dazu ist erfindungsgemäß der erste Drehpunkt (8) in der Ruheposition in etwa gleicher Höhe oder höher positioniert wie bzw. als der zweite Drehpunkt (12). <IMAGE>
