Abstract (en)

The gear unit (11) is operated by a handle of a central lock and fits between a handle rosette and the central lock. A drive organ (16) fits on the shaft of the handle and co-operates with engagement elements (19,20) with parallel sliding intermediate parts (21,22) in a gear casing (12,13). Each intermediate part couples with a rod. When the drive organ is rotated from a locked to a rotating open position, the rods move out their lock pockets and couple with the intermediate part (21) for the lower rod, to enable further rotation of the drive organ in a tipping position, where the lower rod engages its lock pocket again and both rods can be brought back into their engagement position to move to the locked position. A coupling (32,34) is controlled according to the rotation position of the drive organ and couples the intermediate parts for common movement between the rotation and tilting positions and decouples them after return to the rotation position. An Independent claim is included for a cover profile for a rod lock with the gear unit.

Vorgeschlagen wird ein Getriebe für einen Stangenverschluß für Dreh/Kippflügel (F,2), welcher Verschluß Riegeltaschen (5,6) zur Befestigung aufliegend auf dem Blendrahmen (1) und mit diesem zusammenwirkende, in entgegengesetzten Richtungen in Eingriff bzw. außer Eingriff bringbare Riegel- oder Verschlußstangen (8, 10) zur Anbringung auf dem Flügelrahmen (2) aufweist, wobei über ein Antriebsorgan (16) parallel zueinander schiebbare Stangenstücke (21;22) betätigbar sind, um diese bei einer Drehung des Antriebsorgans (16) aus einer ersten Stellung (I) in eine zweite Stellung (II) parallel zueinander aber gegensinnig zu bewegen. Bei oder nach Erreichen der zweiten Stellung (II) wird das Stangenstück (21) für die untere Verschlußstange (8) vom Antriebsorgan (16) entkoppelt und bei der weiteren Drehung des Antriebsorgans (16) in die dritte Stellung (III) das untere Stangenstück (21) erneut abwärts bewegt. Ein ­ in Abhängigkeit von der Drehstellung des Antriebsorgans (16) steuerbares ­ Kupplungsorgan (32a,30) wird dazu eingesetzt. Zwischen der zweiten Stellung (II) und der dritten Stellung (III) kuppelt es die Stangenstücke (21,22) zur gemeinsamen Abwärtsbewegung. <IMAGE>
