[origin: EP1061218A1] Strike plate comprises base (14) able to be supported on longitudinal edge (15) of one of edges (16,17) of housing groove (2) made in rabbet (3) of door frame (4). Shoe under the base can be inserted in groove while fixing screw passes perpendicularly through base and shoe to engage groove bottom (6). Support foot (24) extends over height equal to groove depth (20).
