Die Erfindung geht von einer Abgasrückführeinrichtung mit einem Tellerventil aus, dessen Ventilschaft ausgehend von einem Ventilteller in Strömungsrichtung des Abgases verläuft und das in entgegengesetzter Richtung öffnet. Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß stromaufwärts vor einem Ventilsitz ein Leitkörper im Abgaskanal angeordnet ist, der in der geöffneten Position des Tellerventils die Abgasströmung an dem Ventilteller vorbeileitet. <IMAGE>
