[origin: DE19810201A1] The combination sunbed has a pedestal base supporting a lower sunbed surface incorporating a number of UV lamps (5), with further UV lamps incorporated in a cooperating upper sunbed section whic is hinged between an open and closed position relative to the lower sunbed surface. The UV lamps are arranged in groups which can be operated independently, for irradiation of the entire body or specific body areas.
