[origin: DE19811956A1] An electronic trip or release includes adjustment- and indicator-elements for the release-parameter to be set or adjusted, such as for the release-current at over-load and the associated delay time. The switching- and indicating-elements operate in conjunction with adjustment devices for the parameter, and the adjustment- and indicator-elements are arranged on a control panel of the trip or release. Pushbutton switches (14-16) and LCD-elements (2-9a) are used as the adjustment- and indicator-elements, with one LCD-element provided as an indicator element for each parameter to be set or adjusted.
