[origin: EP1745760A1] The method involves manufacturing dental prosthesis part from a set of raw parts by a computer-aided design (CAD)/computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system (CC) depending on basis data, where the raw parts are arranged at a common plate, and the data defines the geometry of dental remains. A three dimensional geometry of a jaw area provided with the prosthesis part is measured by a scanner (SCAN) directly or in a working model (40) for determining the data.
