Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1062992A1] The fixing comprises a base plate (1) carrying a front boot retainer (2) and a heel retainer (7) which slides on the base plate. A traction strap (16) acts on the heel retainer to pull it forwards. The base plate has a rack (6) and the heel retainer has two levers. The lower arms of the levers are connected to the ends of a hoop (15) coupled to the rack. The upper arms of the levers are connected to the traction strap which passes diagonally over the boot instep.
