[origin: DE19928333C1] A carpet cleaner in the form of cellulose-based porous particles containing cleaning fluids and surfactants is such that the particles have a matrix of regenerated cellulose containing 0.001-0.3 carbamate groups per anhydroglucose unit. An Independent claim is included for manufacture of the cleaner by coagulating a solution of cellulose carbamate in (preferably 5-12%) caustic soda, comminuting and washing the resulting gel and then treating it with solvent(s) and surfactants

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Teppichreiniger auf Cellulosebasis sowie ein Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung. Diese werden in der chemischen Industrie, der Textilindustrie und der Reinigungsindustrie beispielsweise zur Reinigung von Teppichen in Hotels, Gewarbeflächen oder auch im privaten Bereich verwendet. Erfindungsgemäß besteht der Teppichreiniger aus porösen Partikeln auf Cellulosebasis, die eine Reinigungsflüssigkeit und Tenside enthalten, wobei die Partikel eine Matrix aus Regeneratcellulose aufweisen mit einem Anteil von 0,001 bis 0,3 Carbamatgruppen pro Anhydroglukoseeinheit der Cellulose.
