Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung einer Kupfer-Zinn-Eisen-Legierung, die aus 12 bis 20 Gew.-% Zinn; 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-% Eisen; Rest Kupfer und üblichen Verunreinigungen besteht, für die Herstellung mechanischer Bauteile des Fahrzeug- und Maschinenbaus sowie für die Herstellung elektromechanischer Bauteile. Aufgrund der Kombination günstiger Eigenschaften der Kupfer-Zinn-Eisen-Legierung handelt es sich um eine breite Palette von Verwendungsmöglichkeiten.
