Abstract (en)

During the weaving action to weave a drying cloth, the wefts (1) or picks are gathered progressively together with the warps (2,3). On one part, the weft picks are gathered by a series of paired warps and, on the other part, the lifting of the leno yarns is controlled so that, along each pick, they are given alternating left and right movements. The planes (P) of the warp pinching action, defined by the shed and locking the same pick, have a secant to compress the sections (A) of the picks into a curved shape. The cloth is washed at least once, to optimize its absorption capacity. An Independent claim is included for a loom where the lift of the leno yarns is controlled to alternate to the right and left along each pick, where the pinching planes are at the same point on the same pick, to keep them parallel. Their secants are set to compress the sections into a curvature where the curve direction changes each time. Preferred Features: The warps are lifted by eccentrics. The warps are gathered in pairs with a fixed warp (2) and a second leno warp (3), which is manipulated to the left and right alternately, to be formed into a curvature along the section length through the pinching planes (P).
