[origin: EP1063486A1] Heat exchanger comprises first (10) and second (12) stacked plates placed alternately. Plates have bottoms (14,20) and undulations (18,24) extending in perpendicular directions so as to delimit between plates first (34) and second (36) flow channels for first and second fluids. Channel has hydraulic diameter (Dh) defined by Dh = 2 h where h represents half height of channel and value of hydraulic diameter is between 1 and 3 mm.
