Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1063682A1] A first, dielectrically-limited discharge is produced by forming xenon excimer under UV radiation. A second discharge is produced without dielectric limitation. This is a low pressure xenon discharge emitting UV radiation. Fluorescent materials (2) convert radiation from both discharges, into visible light.
