Abstract (en)
The lamp firing module includes a voltage transformer (1) having a magnetic circuit on which are wound primary (1a) and secondary (1b) windings. The module includes a permanent magnet in the secondary circuit which modifies the transformers magnetic characteristics so as to increase the saturation level of the secondary winding.
