[origin: DE10001950A1] The seat-belt draw-in unit comprises a base frame (3) on which a spool (2) is rotationally mounted by means of a shaft (15). The spool is turned by a motor (5) via a speed-reducing mechanism for winding the belt (W) onto the spool's outer periphery. The speed reducing mechanism has two power transmission lengths and a switching mechanism. A resistance torque device is preset at an amount. One of the power transmission elements transfers the rotation of the motor to another power transmission element.
