[origin: DE19812387C1] An engine mounting has two elastic mountings (11,30) in parallel on a common support and with a servo drive (21) which couples the secondary mounting (30) to the main mounting (11). The servo drive has two coupling elements (22,23) which are brought into contact by an actuator (19) and are shaped to require only a short movement by the actuator. One coupling element is cup shaped and the other is ball shaped (23) to provide a rotational symmetry. The ball shaped coupling element is slit to provide additional elasticity and ensure a snug fit. The elastic mountings are elastomer blocks and the coupling elements are plastic.
