[origin: DE19744229A1] The ultrasonic transducer has a cup-like housing (1) with an annular wall and a bottom surface (2) that serves as membrane. A piezoelectric element, fitted on the inside of the bottom surface, is connected to bonding conductors (3). The side opposite the bottom surface is enclosed by a decoupling ring (4) which is configured as a retainer for the bonding conductors.
