[origin: DE19811353C1] The circuit has circuit parts (2,3) comprising transistors with low working voltage. To reduce the leakage current of the circuit parts, the circuit part is connected to a supply voltage (VDD) via a switching transistor (MP1) with higher use voltage. A low voltage control transistor (MNH1) is connected in parallel with the high voltage switching transistor. Both supply voltages (VDD,VSS) are connected to the circuit parts via a low voltage control transistor connected in parallel with the high voltage switching transistor. The low voltage control transistors, in parallel with the switching transistors, are of opposite polarity to the high voltage switching transistors. The circuit parts may comprise an active and a passive or stand-by operating condition which may be switched between these by means of digital control signals.
