[origin: WO9946692A2] Information is provided to a customer whose computer network is administered remotely by a provider of network administration services, some of which are carried out by dedicated service machines executing special-purpose programs in a computer network maintained by the service provider. A graphical computer interface allows the customer to request, via computer, information about the customer's network from any of the dedicated service machines. The requested information then is retrieved from an appropriate one of the dedicated service machines and is displayed to the customer via the graphical computer interface.
