Abstract (en)
There is provided a ring binder mechanism 200, 300 including a back plate 204 and two carrier plates 206 which are arranged in a resilient lower plate 208 and bear against each other, the angle formed between the carrier plates 206 changing during opening and closing of half-ring members 210 associated mounted on the carrier plates 206, the back plate 204 being adapted to be secured to an article, e.g. a cover, in which the back plate 204 is securable with the lower plate 208 in a snap-fit manner. The back plate 204 may be secured to an article, e.g. a cover, at least part of which is between the back plate 204 and the lower plate 208, in which the lower plate 208 includes two resilient tongue members 234 extending generally towards the back plate 204. <IMAGE>
