Abstract (en)
The hydrocyclone (1), to separate foreign matter (S) from a liquid (F), has at least one inlet (3) for the liquid (F) to be cleaned, at least one outlet for the cleaned fluid (G) and at least one outlet (5) for the rejected matter (S), with at least one zone (2) subject to blockage. At least part of the outer wall of the hydrocyclone (1) has a colored layer (9) which changes its appearance according to temp. The outlet (5) for rejected matter takes out heavy and light particles. The colored layer (9), which changes its color on heating/cooling, is near the outlet (5) for rejected matter or in the channel which carries the foreign matter (S) away from the hydrocylone. The layer (9) changes color at temps. of 25-40 degrees C, as a film which is bonded in place by an adhesive. The dimensions of the outlet (5) for rejected matter can be changed by a setting unit (8).

Der Hydrozyklon dient dem Entfernen von Störstoffen aus einer Flüssigkeit (F), deren Temperatur von der Umgebungstemperatur abweicht. Solche Hydrozyklone werden üblicherweise bei der Reinigung von Faserstoffsuspensionen eingesetzt, insbesondere wenn diese aus Altpapier hergestellt sind. Sie können einen verstopfungsgefährdeten Bereich (2) aufweisen, in dem sich die auszuscheidenen Störstoffe (S) ansammeln. Erfindungsgemäß wird in dem verstopfungsgefährdeten Bereich (2) die Temperaturänderung mit Hilfe einer Farbschicht (9) sichtbar gemacht, da sie ein Indikator für das Auftreten von starken Ansammlungen von Störstoffen ist. Es können dann Maßnahmen zur Entfernung der Ansammlung vorgenommen werden. <IMAGE>
