[origin: EP1065388A1] The drive has a longitudinal housing containing (4) a movable drive section (13) as well as a holder (24,25) for attaching the linear drive to a support structure (2). The holder is attached to either one end of the housing (27) by a closed holder wall (33) or at the other end of the housing (26) by a perforated holder wall (32). A seal arrangement (48) is provided for sealing the transfer region (46) between the housing and the holder, where the arrangement consists of sealing rings. The rings are designed so as to have a transfer angle at their sides in cross section which is greater than 90 degrees. The seal ring comprises a corrosion-resistant and non-toxic material.
