[origin: WO9949166A1] The present invention relates to a device (1) in connection with mounting of a door closer (21), said door closer (21) being intended to actuate a door leaf (18) received in a frame (12). It is a frequent problem in connection with conventional door closers that the attachment of the door closer that is mounted in connection with the frame often loosens after a certain time of use of the door closer. The device according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a mounting plate, an attachment (25) of the door closer being intended to be connected with said mounting plate, spacing means extending from said plate in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the plate (5) and means (11) to enable fastening of the spacing means in the frame (12).
