[origin: WO9949546A1] The invention relates to a switchgear cabinet for housing components of a series circuit lighting system for airports, comprising at least one individual lamp switching and lamp monitoring system (15 to 26). The dimensions of the control cabinet (1) are selected such that it can house several, preferably at least three, series circuit transformers (13), measurement component supports (8, 9, 10) and current stabilizers (5, 6, 7) and that each measurement component support (8, 9, 10) is configured such that a master unit (15) assigned to the at least one lamp switching and monitoring system (15 to 26) and presenting an interface and a communication coupler between a series circuit (14) and the current stabilizer (5) assigned thereto, can be mounted on the cabinet.
