Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9949553A1] A portable power tool (20) provides operating torque for a rotary load. The portable power tool (20) includes an offset rotary sleeve (52) for coupling attachment to the power input shaft (39) of the rotary load. A gearing assembly (46) provides right angle torque from an in-line DC motor (38). The gearing assembly (48) is driven by an output power shaft (42) which is powered by a DC electrical motor (38). The rotary sleeve (52) coupling is supported on opposite ends by a first bearing (60) on an upper portion of the rotary sleeve coupling (52) and by a second bearing (55) on a lower portion of the rotary sleeve coupling. The DC motor (38) is powered by a rechargeable battery (32).
