Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19814530A1] The invention relates to a method for digitally transmitting data in a wireless communications network. A controlling communication ("downlink") is executed from a master station to all other subscribers within a fixed bandwidth of a channel with the help of a fixed signaling frame (1). The start of the signaling frame (1) is characterised by a special frame synchronisation signal (5) which can be detected by the subscribers. The frame synchronisation signal used consists of at least one sub-range of the bandwidth being occupied by transmitting signals and at least one complementary sub-range of the bandwidth not being occupied by transmitting signals.
