Abstract (en)

The method involves gluing overlapping flaps of paper, etc., folded around an object to make a package. The cover flap (114) is lifted from its fold position and bent over using a suction roller (115). The cover flap is curved around the roller, so that the inner side faces outwards and can be coated with glue by a gluing unit (112) arranged above the package conveyor. The glued flap is then folded back onto the inner flap to seal the package. An Independent claim is included for a device for implementing the method.

Abstract (de)

Bei der Fertigung von Großpackungen (10) aus einer von einem Zuschnitt umgebenen Packungsgruppe (11) sind einander teilweise überdeckende Faltlappen, nämlich Innenlappen (113) einerseits und Außen- bzw. Decklappen (114) andererseits, durch Leim miteinander zu verbinden. Zur Beaufschlagung der Innenseite des Außen- bzw. Decklappens (114) mit Leim wird dieser abgehoben und so verformt, dass die Innenseite einem Leimaggregat (112) zugekehrt ist. <IMAGE>
