The method involves determining the rotations of the winding core (10), determining a measurement cycle corresp. to a selected number of rotations of the winding core, measuring the length of strip material (11) wound during a measurement cycle and determining the winding parameter from the winding length over the measurement cycle and the winding length for a preceding cycle taken account of the material thickness. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for determining a winding parameter of a strip material winding process.
Abstract (de)
Ein sehr dünnes Bandmaterial (11), z.B. aus dünner Aluminiumfolie, wird auf einem Wickelkern (10) zu einem Bandwickel (12) aufgewickelt. Dabei wird Luft, die an dem Bandmaterial haftet, mitgewickelt. Zur Bestimmung der Wickeldichte werden jeweils aus Umdrehungen des Wickelkernes (10) Meßzyklen gebildet. Während jedes Meßzyklus wird mit einer Meßeinrichtung (16) die Wickellänge gemessen. Aufgrund der Differenz der Wickellängen bei zwei nacheinander folgenden Meßzyklen kann unter Berücksichtigung der Materialstärke die Wickeldichte oder die Stärke der eingeschlossenen Luftschicht bestimmt werden. Auf diese Weise ist eine Qualitätsaussage über den hergestellten Bandwickel möglich. Es kann auch eine Regelung des Wickelvorganges im Sinne einer Konstanthaltung des Wickelparameters erfolgen. <IMAGE>
