[origin: DE19804329A1] The invention relates to a filter for fluids, especially for oil or fuel, which is mounted in an internal combustion motor. The inventive filter has a filter body housed in a plastic filter housing (2), a feeding channel (4) for conveying a non filtered fluid and a return channel for evacuating filtered fluid. The invention aims to provide a plastic filter for fluids, which is reliable and requires low maintenance. For this purpose, the feeding channel (4) and the return channel are placed in a receiving compartment (6) of the filter housing (2), and said receiving compartment (6) is defined by a safety wall (7) which radially surrounds the feeding channel (4) and the return channel, and is integrated into the filter housing (2).
