[origin: WO9950159A1] The invention relates to a conveyor belt (1) which has a shaped surface (10) for conveying rolling items. The conveyor belt surface (10) has several continuous ridges (11) which undulate in the longitudinal direction and do not touch each other. Owing to the arrangement of the ridges (11) provided for by the invention there are no points of intersection, which makes the conveyor belt (1) more flexible and less prone to defects and errors caused by such points of intersection than conventional shaped conveyor belts.
