Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1068821A1] The mattress body consists of pad units (1) each containing two air chambers (2) linked by a connecting chamber (3) and designed so that the chambers are square shaped when inflated. These are embedded in a foam material and covered with suitable furnishing materials. Each pair of air chambers has a separate air supply pipe (11) to a pressure control unit and LV pump (10) housed at one end of the mattress.
