Abstract (en)
The harness consists of a waist belt (12) and a pair of thigh straps (14, 16) attached to it by a coupling ring (20). The thigh straps are are made in one piece from a synthetic fabric with a foam stuffing. The front section of each thigh strap is connected to the central section (18) with no discontinuity by a triangular section (28) which distributes the forces applied to it. The thigh straps are in the form of fixed or adjustable spirals cut out in one flat piece with the central section and then shaped.

Un harnais cuissard d'encordement comprend une ceinture 12 d'attache reliée à une paire de tours de cuisse 14, 16 par une partie intermédiaire 18. La paire de tours de cuisse 14, 16 et la partie intermédiaire 18 sont fabriquées par complexage à partir d'un tissu synthétique rembourré par une mousse de remplissage pour constituer une seule pièce semi rigide. La partie antérieure de chaque tour de cuisse est rattachée sans discontinuité à la sangle de raccord 18 par une liaison à répartiteur 28 triangulaire, agencée pour l'équilibrage des forces appliquées sur ladite pièce monobloc. Applications : escalade, alpinisme, spéléologie, travaux en hauteur. <IMAGE>
