Abstract (en)
In order to avoid an unauthorized interrogation a vehicle based control equipment (13) transmits at least one short pulse towards a transponder (1). There the pulses are introduced into a transponder transmission exit circuit (7,8) via a bypass path (5) and transmitted back to the control equipment (13). The latter measures the time interval between transmission and reception of the returned pulse(s) and accepts only this transponder which assures the shortest time interval.

Das fahrzeugseitige Basisstation (14) sendet ein Abfragesignal zum Codegeber (1) aus, von dem Prüfbits durch Umgehung einer Auswerteeinheit unmittelbar zum Kraftfahrzeug zurückgesendet werden. Die Basisstation (14) misst die Zeitdauer zwischen Aussenden und Rückempfangen der Prüfbits und akzeptiert nur ein Antwortsignal des Codegebers (1), wenn die gemessene Zeitdauer kürzer als eine Referenzzeitdauer ist. <IMAGE>
